Dumfries and County Golf Club
Dumfries and County Golf Club is a delightful parkland 18 hole golf course, centrally located and beautifully laid out alongside the River Nith with exceptional greens built to USGA standards.
With a well earned reputation for hospitality, a recently refurbished lounge, excellent refurbished pro shop with full equipment hire and outstanding catering, the pleasure of your golfing visit to Dumfries and County will start long before you tee up.
This is a beautifully mature parkland course with tree lined fairways, manicured rough and challenging greens.
The Dumfries and County encourages strategic play, plot your way round carefully and you’ll find good shots are well rewarded. The greens are individualistic in character and exceptionally well maintained, and the huge double green shared by the 1st and 6th is a real treat.
Course Highlight
The 14th is one of the shortest par 3s in the country, and it holds records for the number of hole in ones that have been recorded here. Hit the ball well and the 14th is an absolute delight, but danger lurks in the deep bunkers surrounding the green. Underestimate this hole at your peril.
