Kirkcudbright Golf Club
Kirkcudbright Golf Club with panoramic views over the Artists Town, its harbour and the Dee Estuary, Kirkcudbright Golf Course is an 18 hole parkland course of exceptional quality.
An accessible, good long undulating course with lovely wide fairways, Kirkcudbright probably covers more acreage than any other course in Dumfries & Galloway. Distance control and accuracy is important here, and the course is never quite as straightforward as it appears, with repeat plays tempting and rewarding.
Kirkcudbright is an exceptionally well maintained golf course, playable year round. The course is notable for its lack of bunkers, but such is the variety and quality of this course, it’s unlikely you’ll notice their absence, and indeed there are a number of subtle traps waiting to catch out errant drives.
Kirkcudbright golf club caters very well for visiting golfers and individual and family weekly and monthly membership is available from £50.
Course Highlight
Watch out for the 12th, a 449 yard dogleg par 4 with a dangerous out of bounds on the left, so an accurate tee shot is essential.
Perfect Partners
Warm up for your round by heading to Tongland Family Golf Centre, or partner Kirkcudbright with nearby Brighouse Bay for an enjoyable test of golfing skill.
