New Galloway Golf Club course is one of the most scenic inland courses in Scotland, with stunning views over Loch Ken and towards the Galloway Hills.

Nature is the star of New Galloway Golf Club. The par 68 upland course climbs from a woodland setting up to the first and second fairway to open moorland, and its location provides rewarding views of the Galloway hills and forests, with occasional glimpses of wildlife visitors such as red squirrel, red deer, hares and red kite.

This is a golf course that invites flexible playing, with tight but fair fairways, stone dyke hazards. Golfers will experience some of the finest natural greens in the area that run true with subtle borrows. An excellent year-round golf course with spectacular autumn colours and no winter greens. New Galloway Golf Club course provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Players with a good short game are generally rewarded and play this course well and you will play golf to a higher standard anywhere.

Course Highlight

The seventh par 3 takes you onto a green with a panoramic view down Loch Ken and is so spectacular that a bench invites you to take a moment to sit and enjoy it.
